Противопожарные ГОСТы

International (American Society for Testing and Materials) — американская международная добровольная организация, разрабатывающая и издающая стандарты для материалов, продуктов, систем и услуг.

Сегодня ASTM поддерживает около 12000 стандартов. ASTM Standards состоят из 77 томов. Членство в организации открыто для любого, кто заинтересован в этой работе. Членами являются более 32 тысяч представителей от производителей, пользователей, непосредственных потребителей, правительств и академий более 100 стран мира. Следование этим стандартам добровольное. В США правительство настоятельно рекомендует использовать эти стандарты везде, где это возможно. Комитеты ASTM, разрабатывающие и проверяющие уже разработанные стандарты, открыты для участия всех заинтересованных лиц. Стандарты проверяются и переиздаются не реже, чем раз в пять лет.
